Good but with some reservations Outstanding exterior design and picture quality. However red colors are exagrerated - human skin is too reddish (no RGB adjustment in menu). But two main software issues (1.12 firmware) destroy the all-good opinion for me: First - Frame does not remember last picture displayed when powered on/off (even if automatic on/off timer is used). So if you have lots of pictures in memory and delay between pictures in slideshow mode is rater high (eg. 1 hour), than every day you will be seeing the same images until you will get bored with them and delete them ! What a shame... Second - if random order is used for slideshow mode, then first image displayed after power on is always the same one (it is not random). So if the delay between pictures is set to eg. 24 hours and frame is scheduled to automatically power on/off daily, then you will always be seeing the same image. Again, what a shame... If was looking for help in the support chat but the only thing they could tell me is that it is by diesign that the frame always starts slideshow with the first image in memory. February 3, 2009
Worked as described We bought this for our parents. We wanted a plug and play frame. We literally plugged in the sd disk, plugged in the frame, turned it on, and presto, slide show. It could not have been any easier! December 31, 2008
Sony DPF-D70 7" Digital Photo Frame Disappointing because picture quality appears over-red and unfortunately there is no adjustment on the frame for RGB. Faces are particularly affected, so the only way I have been able to fix this is by adjusting the original on a computer. You need to make the original almost slightly greenish to make it display okay on the frame. It is very difficult to get this right because the results are only visible once the 'experimented' colour changes are copied across to the frame. December 29, 2008
so cool it took me a couple of days to sit down and figure out everything but once i got it loading pictures was a breeze from cards or computer. November 30, 2008
