Absolutely LOVE this speaker!!!
This speaker is just AMAZING! Let me say that again... AMAZING. And if you have a phone with an SD card for your media, you now have yourself your very own remote control from just about anywhere, I've been as far as 20 ft. It fits my needs perfectly. And well, I have found I use my Blackberry with it more than I do my VAIO. I have a Blackberry Curve 8900, paired flawlessly! The minute I turn my BB's bluetooth on, it finds it and connects with no problems. I like the controls on my BB better, and I'm close to a charging cradle if battery starts to drain. As far as my VAIO notebook goes, obviously no trouble pairing initially. Afterwards connects perfectly as well when I show Bluetooth devices, double click, and hit connect. That's not a chore at all. What I find to be kind of annoying is how to switch from notebook speakers to Bluetooth by having to go to Control Panel, Hardware & Sound, Sound, System Sounds, then make Bluetooth default. WOW... that's annoying, but it's a Windows 7 thing. Would have been nice to just be able to do that from the taskbar tray. I also have a bluetooth mouse connected to my computer. It's interesting. My VAIO is connected via bluetooth to my phone, my bluetooth mouse, and this speaker. There's never any interruption between notebook and all three items. My phone can be connected to my VAIO & this speaker with no issues as well. However, this speaker can only be connected to either my phone at one time or the my VAIO at one time. And honestly, it's better off! Why would you want music comin from your phone through this thing at the same time you have your computer hooked up as well?! And there's zero interference with my bluetooth mouse and my PC, so I'm more than fine. BUY THIS! You won't be sorry. Delivery was very quick too. I expected at least a week shipped from CA to NY, was here in 4 days! Thank you Sony. :)

Amazing/simple
This is exactly what I wanted. I use this with my macbook pro (2010) and it is so simple to use this as the audio source. Once I paired it the computer remembered it, so now its always a choice in a drop down menu at the top of the screen. I keep the speaker on at all times and then when I want to use the speaker for much better sound I just select it on the drop down menu and thats it. Right after I select it the blue light illuminates on the speaker and sound is instantly produced. When watching videos theres no lag between the sound and video. Its awesome. The sound easily fills a normal room. It can go pretty loud but at the highest volume it gets a little distorted..but that volume is too high for comfort anyway

Output - OK, Design - Not OK
The output from the speaker is good until you maximise the volume. Sound gets distorted easily as you approach the max volume. In low volumes, the quality is on par with any regular wired speakers. The bass is good for the size. I could connect easily with my laptop and my mobile phone. Switching connections is little hard, but that is ok. But, seriously, I am wondering how Sony could come up with this design. I have owned lot of sony products and always wanted it. But this speaker lacks the style, especially the buttons and light....There is no distinction between left and right speaker. However, when placed under TV, looks like a mini sound bar...That way, it compensates.
