Earbuds for those who hate earbuds
Up until I got these earbuds, I hated all of them. I'd never tried on a pair that didn't hurt immediately and that didn't sound like garbage. I bought a new personal media player and wanted good quality earbuds, so going in without knowing what I'd get I bought these earbuds, and I almost fainted when I put them in. The silicone cushions that came on them were fine with me; I didn't have to try the other sizes. I hear things in songs I've never heard before. I can wear them for literally hours without any pain at all. I can headbang to hard rock and they stay firmly in place. The range is awesome too; I never get any distortion and even the lowest bass is throbbing and smoothe. Get these earbuds.

Great sounding and comfortable fit
I bought these to replace another pair of Sony headphones that broke. These fit the bill perfectly. great sound quality and combfortable fit. The earpiece design keeps them snug in the ear. Comes with a handy carrying case.

Clear sound great nose reduction
I've been using these headphones for over a year now and I've never had any problems with them. I slipped on some ice one day and landed on them in my pocket, and it broke where the silver part connects with the bud, but with a little super glue i connected them back together. The sound quality on them is amazing, and as most uses agree with the bass level is excellent. They are not listed as noise cancelling, but very rarely do i hear outside noise unless it is very near. Excellent product overall.

Durable. . . not buyin' again at this price
these are great phones for dayly use in terms of durability and fasion, but they are far from perfect.
pros: first off they are very loud with little to no distortion coming from the drivers in the mids and highs. they served for a good few months w/o problem as far as decrease in capability. moderate to good preformance on quality mixing gear.
cons: they have a lacking mid range and a some what poor distortion problem when being used with an apple ipod. i beleive this is due to a nearly flawless reproduction quality of sound and bad amplifiers on said ipod. as i said , they are fine to use as studio monitors. not recommended for ipod.
verdict: they are not audiophile by any means, but will provide a good listening experience with quality music. they are very durable in terms of electrical endurence. after finding a good price at the now unavailable mdr-7906es, i chose to kill these so to speak. i went ahead and plugged these us to a 5 watt output and ran heavy bass through them for four hours. they actualy began to slowly warp the plastic housing of the buds! i then figuered to let them live as they would only melt the plastic and become totaly useless. they are still working some five months later and they actualy sound almost better. maybe its just an illusion due to their proformance. they are indestructable. i like them, but as a professional audio technition, and a pure blood audiophile, i prefer atleast the studio monitors. i would only buy these at discount prices if i saw them. they would be a good present i suppose.
