Great product with deep bass
I bought this to replace a ten year old Aiwa subwoofer because I wanted to have the 12" woofer and to match the other speakers in my system. The unit is solidly built and matches the other items in my setup, I really like the fact that it has the ability to chain multiple units together so if you have a receiver that only has one sub out you can add another sub with out using a y adapter. The one gripe I have is that you have to turn up the level to 3/4 to even notice the bass. My old Aiwa unit would put out the same amount of bass just under the half way mark. That is the only thing that prevents me from giving it 5 stars. I will say the the bass is deep and sounds really good, it has that deep boom that I was looking for that the old woofer just couldn't do. Also you might as well turn the auto off to just off, as listening at low levels the subwoofer cuts off and is really annoying. I have this sub with the SS-F7000 towers, SS-CN5000 center and SS-B1000 surrounds hooked up to the STRDA4600ES receiver and 55" KDL-55HX729 TV.

THE BEST SUBWOFER OF THE WORLD !
There are not words to describe this magnific prduct, i have bee buy a pair of subwofers and conected to a Sony receiver, I only have a pair of words to cualify : AMAZING & OUTSTANDING

Premium peformance at a great value
Putting the finishing touches to my first Home Theater system. This woofer is a wonderful addition to the system. Receiver is an STR-DG600 7.1 with CD and Blu Ray running both coaxial and optical inputs depending on the set up.......AWESOME! Play Iron Man 2 in CST EX B mode and prepare to BLOWN AWAY by the headroom created by the surround and this woofer! A+
