GARBAGE
I needed a cable to hook my SR5 to my computer, and since I do not have the original docking station, I needed a mini HDMI to USB cable so I can plug the camcorder directly into the computer. SInce there is no other alternative, when I saw that the site said this was the recommended cable, I assumed this would work. Upon receipt, there is nowhere to plug a USB or mini USB cable into the camera, so how this is recommended is a puzzle. I cannot find a mini HDMI to USB cable anywhere so now I have video on a useless paperweight. Strong work, SONY!

Doesn't match discontinued model!!
If you have the discontinued model, it does not match up to any of the hook ups. Even though this is the cord they say is supposed to work. The manual even recommends this cord!!

USB Cable does nothing
I'm using a camera that still uses firewire and this cable still does not capture video. Still had to use my firewire cable in the end. Very little product information on the Sony page,
