Still a great computer after 4 years I also own a Sony Vaio VGC-RC310G but because I love the tower I am upgrading it to a quad core system. I have a new Intel quad core motherboard with 8GB of memory and ATI 5750 video card now I am trying to find a power supply that fits. Making these changes I have to take a few things out of the computer such as the liquid cooler and fan as I rather leave it or unless I find another motherboard more for the system but I maybe out of options. So either way I am keeping RC310g tower and upgrading it no matter what. From San Luis Obispo May 28, 2010

10. As with other optical media devices, circumstances may limit compatibility or prevent Blu-ray Disc™ media playback. VAIO® computers may not support movie playback on packaged media recorded in AVC or VC1 formats at high bit rates.

11. Video recording to Blu-ray Disc media is done in MP2 format only.
