3 years and counting!! ?
These earbuds are amazing and have lasted me years of long flights, being sat on, stepped on, dropped in snow, dropped in pools, being hit with soccer balls, being left in the sand, and even being abandoned at Starbucks in a foreign country but I went back for my babies!! U got them for Christmas when I was 15 (3+ years ago) and I thought that they were ugly. I was so wrong and young and stupid because about a month after that another pair of scull candy earbuds that I got for Christmas stopped working so I started using these. <since then I never looked back and I love them so so so much!! They are so cheap for how good of quality they are and I'm so glad I got them!! I have 3 pairs 1 in black one in yellow/gold and my first pair my light pink ones that I love and use so very much. These are definitely a must have for any athletes because when you're running with rubber earbuds in they fall out and when you're running with headphones on they fall off. You need a pair!!

10+ Years User: Best Headphones For Athletes
As a distance runner & triathlete who uses music when I am training and works out hard which means a lot of sweat. In 2000 after becoming frustrated/distracted by ear buds constantly falling out due to sweat and motion, I discovered these Sony active style headphones. In over 10 years of use I've NEVER had them fall off and only rarely have to blow on the speaker area if they are clogged with sweat (very infrequent occurrence).
I'm always looking for new things and have tried many other brands, styles and technology; whether I spent over $100 on a pair or $5 on a pair, none of them have come close to providing the comfort, sound quality and durability of these Sony headphones.
I log a lot of miles wearing these headphones and constantly use them; because of this I usually buy 1 or 2 pairs of these headphones a year. I can assure you that the reason for the 6-12 month lifespan has nothing to do with quality of product but everything to do with the way that I use them.
In 10+ years of endurance sports I haven't found headphones that can compete with these amazing headphones by Sony.

they have altered the design
Loved these and just bought my 3rd pair, but they have changed the product, im sure my ears didnt shrink, but they now flop around and the sound quality is very poor. Very disappointed!

Great Product
i bought these ear phones over 5 years ago and they would still work awesome if i didnt cut them to try to and my own phone control to them.
