the best out there
When you need to listen to tv close to you rather than turning the tv up these speakers are the boomb. You dont have to walk around with wires; the wireless function works adequately. It's also great to hook up an mp3 player (via the line input to the speakers) and listen it to on the go.
I bput 5 sets: 2 I sold to my friends that seen them in my hose; one I use in my vacation home and one I use in my residence. The last is the back up that I keep charged (I always have two whereever I am).

Disappointed with charging system
Wireless static is bad away from base with Walkman DNF340 the speakers operate very poorly. The system is sold wireless but, it leaves a lot to be desired in the fact that per the instructions you have to connect it with a cable to use it with a Walkman, that is sold separately.
Battery charged before use approximately 16 hrs then got 10 hrs run time. After a 20 hr charge it ran 34 hrs connected to the Walkman DNF 340 Audio Out to the SRS-RK930-RF Audio In. It takes longer to fully charge the batteries than the run time - so you are down charging every other day. This is per the lengthy instructions to fully discharge the battery before recharging. Therefore, I am confused because the manufacturer of nickel-metal hydride batteries states they do not develop the memory of a ni-cade battery, therefore it does not need to be completely discharged before each charge cycle.
The speakers when connected to the walkman via the cable work well. The sound quality is as one would expect from a sony product.
This purchase was disappointing for my expected use.
