Sony Electronics Inc. (for U.S. purchases) warrants this product ("Product") against defects in material or workmanship for two (2) years from original retail purchase when purchased directly from Sony or a Sony Retailer. Please contact Sony's Customer Service Call Center or go to www.sony.com/support for a list of Sony Retailers. In the U.S. and Puerto Rico, call (800) 942-SONY (7669). If Sony finds the Product contains any such defect, Sony will either replace the Product at no charge or, at Sony's discretion, refund the purchase price shown on your receipt. To obtain warranty service, you must, during the warranty period, send your defective Product to Sony, postage prepaid, with a letter that includes your name, address and phone number and a description of the problem encountered. A dated purchase receipt is required from Sony or a Sony Retailer. This warranty is valid only in the country of purchase.
