Rated 5 out of 5 by Phane Almost perfect
First off I like to say this product has one glaring issue, but isn't enough to give it any less than 5 stars, it really needs a nose guard attachment. If you're sitting straight up or standing while using it, the front of the device puts pressure on the bridge of your nose causing some discomfort, I corrected the problem with a linen cloth. The device also comes with a bottom light shield rubber attachment, if only it came with one just for the nose portion it would be great. Its less of a problem when leaning back or lying down; I suggest getting a really good pillow for the back of your head if you do because the strap in the back can hurt after a couple of hours without good cushioning.
It does not come with headphones they're actually earphones with the noise canceling rubber plugs, the sound quality is amazing though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by QTom Cool stuff.
This is certainly a cool product, an attention magnet if you wear it in public (on a long flight for example). The 3D effect is superb, and the connection is easy. Image quality is impressive and even though it is 720P, the sheer tiny size of the display unit assured a pixelization-free experience. I haven't tried the first two HMZs and I've heard that T3 is a great improvement over the previous versions in terms of comfort. However sometimes I still feel that it is too heavy, placing a lot of pressure on the nose. Glasses wearers can use this product but with definitely less comfort, especially in the process of putting it on or taking it off. So if you have the amount to spare for something new, go for it, but if you are seeking for a reasonable purchase with a perfect experience, wait for T4 or project morpheus cause the HMZ line will only get better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tontondavid WOW, Immersion galore!!
I have been using the HMZ-T1 and HMZ-T2 for a while now and was eagerly waiting for the next version. Unfortunately, I had some problems with the previous versions as many other users have had: very narrow clear field. What I mean by that is that it would be very difficult to focus entirely both eyes to see everything sharp. On the T1, it was nearly impossible, the T2 made it easier but still had some issues with sharpness around the edges.
What about this version you may ask??
Well it is definitely better than the T2 but not perfect. Granted I've only played with it an hour last night and I don't think I had it on properly so my opinion may change later on.
What I can tell you though is that this version is even more immersive than the previous 2. I think they changed the way the inside edges are painted. It is now very hard to notice the edges when you watch something and it has virtually no tunnel effects. GREAT!!
It really feels like you're watching an IMAX screen right in front of it.
The room you are in has to be completely dark or you need to use the included pieces of plastic covers to help with that.
The latency seems to be very good also for gaming, at least when I tried to play AC2.
Overall I'm very pleased with this iteration with the wireless capabilities making it an even more appealing product!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Billy197300 Love it
The staff at the Galleria store were very friendly and helpful. This product is amazing, I love it. The 3D is great, good picture. It's kind of like sitting in the middle of a movie theater, that's the only thing I can really compare the experience to. It works great with my PS4 as well., I defy anyone to put one of these on your face and play Outlast......priceless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hddoc Improved Triluminos OLED Display: Far East only?
The USA & UK Sony websites make no mention of the improved Triluminos OLED panels with 14 bit SBM video processing discussed on the Japan, Kiwi, and Aussie webpages for their domestic version of the HMZ-T3W. See post #341 on this page of the AVS Forum:
So Sony, what's the story? Were older obsolete OLED panels quietly placed into the North American model or is this just an urban myth? If we have the same versions than why do the North American marketing materials make no mention of these allegedly highly significant OLED panel improvements?

Rated 4 out of 5 by awndm very good product
Very good system. l am having the experience of being in an IMAX cinema. Sony should try an make the 1080p or 4k model then i hope to get the ultimate experience better than the one i am having. Also the build material quality should be improved to make it look more durable and should consider scratch resistance materials as mine have got few noticeable scratches.

Rated 3 out of 5 by P51Mustang Not good enough!
Maybe I was expecting too much from this. I haven't tried it with my PS3 yet. Sound Quality: good / Image Quality: Average... I guess 1080p would provide a much better quality. I don't know much about previous models but this one feels uncomfortable after wearing for about 10 minutes or less. I am constantly adjusting the head straps as I move just a little bit. Most of all, I am NOT getting 750 inch screen!!!. I have never returned anything to SONY before but this time I'm considering returning it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by itinez dizzy and uncomfortable
I bought this product for my husband on his birthday and he tried the item for a couple of days but we ended up taking it back due to the uncomfortable hold it had on his head and nose. Also it made him feel dizzy every time he stop watching a movie or played video games with it.
