Rated 5 out of 5 by DiDahDit Easy to Set-Up, Easy to Use: Flawless!
Installation: Unbox, connect HDMI, connect power, turn on, follow on-screen instructions. (Tip: First thing you should do is update the software during set-up of any electronics; this Blu-Ray updated in under 2 minutes.) I use password-protected WiFi; all I had to do was input my network name and password when prompted. From the time I opened the box to the time I was online was well under 20 minutes.
Sony Entertainment Network: I got this to access and share YouTube with visitors on TV. Neither the box nor the online reviews prepared me for the large number and variety of services offered!
Miracast: I have a Droid Razr Mini Android phone. The Sony Blu-Ray "mirror" function works flawlessly with my phone.
"Quickstart Feature": I had to turn this feature off to use the automatic function of an HDMI hub/switcher. With Quickstart, you're ready to use it in 2 seconds; without Quickstart, you're ready within 6 seconds, which is still faster than I can grab another remote (for the HDMI hub).
Durability? I've only had this for a month. However, I've got a Sony radio and a Sony Vaio laptop, both of which are still working perfectly despite being over 16 years old. I assume

Rated 5 out of 5 by revik Does exactly what I wanted it to do.
My previous Blu-ray disc player was equipped with Wi-Fi but was unreliable at best. This basic player (meaning that it doesn't have 3D capability like most every top of the line offering) is excellent at streaming over a Wi-Fi connection. Also has a feature that allows Blu-ray discs to load MUCH faster than my other two current players. I like it. Does all of the normal disc playing functions well with an abundance of supportive features. There is no panel display so you really have to count on the remote and the on-screen displays to operate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by geoffhaber Upgrade Purchase
I bought this to upgrade from my Sony BDPS360 for the WIFI feature. I don't care about streaming from the net, but use it to access movie and music files on my computer which is upstairs and the TV is not. Also love that I can load up a flash drive with enough music or video to play all day in the back round. I have had no problems with this unit, installation took a couple of minutes and the unit performed perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hank05 great player
Was in need of a new DVD player. After reading reviews, I decided on the Sony Blu-ray player with Wi-Fi. I'm glad I did. I am 78 years old, hate complicated setups of new gadgets, many reviews stated the easy setup, indeed it was like a breeze.

Rated 1 out of 5 by edwardsk14 Terrible
Absolutely terrible. Bought this to replace outdated player for better streaming connection to Netflix. Connection was either non-existent or super slow - playing 1 minute and then buffering for 10. Spent over 5 hours making adjustments based on Sony site, forums, etc. and finally gave up and put back the 6 year old player that I had intended for this to replace.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jemiller2 Good Player - A lot of features
I purchased this player to replace a PS3 player that just died and was unable to play disks. I must say I am quite happy with the quality of the picture and speed of this device. Even the DVD upscaling is quite good as well.
One note, I could not see a picture at all using one of my old HDMI cables. I swapped HDMI cables with a newer one and it worked. I wish Sony put some sort of bold printed note about this in their manual. I was scratching my head for some time trying to figure out what was wrong.
Because of this I can only at best give this product a 4 star rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by safetyman Easy to set up and use
The player was the easiest setup I've encountered. Just plug it in and connect to your wi-fi and it's ready to go. I watch Amazon and Netflix all the time with no problems.
Nice small size and easy to place in your setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dkelley Excellent - far surpasses competition
BEST smart device I've ever used. Superior to a pricy samsung smart 3d 60" tv that my parents just bought, superior to the mid-range Panasonic smart blu ray player (2013 model) that I bought a month ago.
By comparison between the two blu ray players I own, the Panasonic has lots of performance issues and instability in it's smart internet tools such as netflix and youtube, often to the point of youtube simply not working, and netflix will sometimes continue playing after attempts to pause/play/pause/play without any response from the unit. I've even powered off the panasonic by remote, watched it's power light turn off, while it keeps on delivering the same netflix show to the tv!
The sony BDP-S3200 on the other hand is MUCH more responsive in every way in the user interface, has vastly superior netflix support (also more secure as it doesn't show any show tiles underneath the profile chooser, where the panasonic unit DOES show it - not kid safe at all), has a great working youtube system and dozens of other excellent FREE online services such as the excellent CRACKLE vintage movie/tv player which is 100% free (but shows modern commercials at random times).
I haven't even tried it with a blu ray disc yet but the performance with dvd and all streaming formats is exceptional and reliable. I'm in Canada so the supposed issues with Amazon support missing aren't relevant to me, and I don't intend to pay for more than my existing netflix subscription anyhow with all of these great free options included with this player.
Also the sideview system with my android phone is cool so far if not of the greatest value (probably much better with a sony tv than blu ray player).
Finally the DLNA content from my android phone is MUCH better than on the buggy but more mature panasonic product. DLNA on the panasonic needs you to navigate menus into a specific area and then glitches on many sources such as many cellphone videos that are longer than a few seconds. On this sony blu ray player the DLNA support is always available - I don't need to navigate anywhere - and it so far has worked flawlessly with my android phone!
I paid $30 more for this brand new sony player than for the panasonic player which I only bought a month earlier and I'm now relegating the panasonic unit to the kids room for disc and sometime netflix duty... this sony 3200 blu ray player has now become the centerpiece of our living room home entertainment system!
