Rated 4 out of 5 by GPSDude Awesome BUT,,,,,
I absolutly love this device. Sony seems to have got on the bandwagon and made thier user interfaces more user friendly.
I love the ease of use in navigating all the menues and browsing the playstation store. Big plus!
The Facebook application has one flaw and that is I cannot delete anything I post or that is on my wall like in the computer version.
PSP support -
I have about 80 or so PSP games that I would like to use and unfortunately have to purchase again if I want to play them. A portable UMD drive would be great that connects to the unit to read PSP games would win me over. Until then I will just lug around two gaming units.
Video Playback -
I have numerous dvd's that have an included digital copy contained within them and the lack of support for more digital formats is annoying. I even have trouble getting a MP4 video to play unless it is a strict format.
Price of downloadable movies -
The prices of the digital downloadable movies in the playstation store is outragous. I can buy a dvd from the 80's for $5.00 at HMV. The music industry got the point by reducing the costs of thier music so why can't the film industry do the same?
Digital is a format with no garuntees. At least when I buy a DVD I have the DVD so nothing can go wrong. If I loose the digital file I am hooped.
The positives outweight the negatives though. Great little system Sony! You did good on this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hockeylover555 GREAT!!
Okay, so I purchased my ps vita not too long after it got released and I have to say that I am quite impressed! It is quite amazing!! Although it may be big and somewhat thick, it fits great in your hands and is actually very light weight. You wouldn't want it any thinner because it wouldn't fit your hand right! But anyways the only thing that could make I beyond awesome is if they brought the android market to it! I don't see why they couldn't, it has a touch screen and many more features! I hope Sony will consider this!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by lke1 Amazing my kid love it
My kid has all type of game consoles including playstation 3, wii, xbox 360, nintendo ds, also he has all the top games for the ipad and the iphone, we loves to play with the iphone and ipad games. Yesterday I buy him the playstation vita and he is amazed with the playstation vita, he love the vita, he goes to all places with his new vita, it has clearly the best graphics of any portable game system, and there is no way you can compare the vita games to the ones of the ipad or the iphone. My kid can use the iphone 4S or the ipad 2 at any time to play games and he choose to play games with his vita. I am sure that sony is going to sell a lot of vita consoles because everything is amazing. Unfortunatly my kid does not let me play with the vita that is the reason I can't give a better review but from what I have seen the vita is the best portable gaming system in the world. Sony has built a winner system that will make people play games in their system instead of mobile phones.

Rated 3 out of 5 by WM0001 Great but pricey
The Vita is a great portable console, but Sony has made it so expensive to own that I have to wonder if a price cut is coming in the next few months. It's ridiculous that Sony created a new memory card format just for this system, rendering the memory cards used in PSPs useless. These memory cards are much too expensive. Also, the new game cartridge format means that any games you've purchased for the PSP will not work on this system. With games averaging around $40 and going up to $50, it's hard imagine how this system will become a mainstream success. You're looking at around $500 just to get started with a couple of decent games. Cost aside, the device is great with exceptional graphics and tight controls. I found the navigation system to be unnecessarily complicated. In fact, I had to do an on-line search just to figure out how to close a game. I'm not sure why Sony did away with the X-bar menu system it used on the PSP and other devices. The new system looks like a less sophisticated verson of Apple's navigation scheme. A note to Sony: it's going to be a slap in the face of consumers if you release a Vita Slim in about a year. Make the device right the first time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rsaun18 Amazing little product
I love this thing, it's a powerful little device, and an amazing one, the graphics are great, and the anolog sticks help A LOT however it's a little expensive, and so are the memory cards, even a price drop of like $10 on the memory cards would be very helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nifes PSVita Value
PSVita is great system, the power of it is awesome and games look great on it. At E3 i fell in love with the Vita and i say the best model would have to be wifi only model. The 3G model is good but u can get wifi in ur car in these's days. Anyway i hope all PSN fans get their hands on this beast because i did ready with pro-order.
And the only thing about Vita is the price is not worth it's total amount, its worth about 199.99 so 200.00$ total sense it has bad battery life and no memory card comes with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Schoonerthedog Good Buy
I love my Vita, it took some getting use to, but after a week I understood everything on it. After a week though, i started noticing scratches after just putting it in an empty pocket about 15 times, it doesn't have a durable screen at all, my suggestion with it if you plan on buying one is that you also buy a Zagg Shield and a hard shell case.
Also, it has a very small game library at the moment
