Great phone!
Love this phone, got it when it first came out. Nice arc design and it feels solid. Digging the aluminum touch found on this model vs international T model. Takes great pictures in daylight, decent quality in low light (better than most mobile phones). Cheesy AT&T branding. Hurry up Jelly Bean update.

I feel like Sky is falling!
I've been collecting xperia since X2 (got X10, x8, x10MiniPro, Arc, S, and now this#. The only thing that catches my eyes are the Sony cosmetic designs. It is not as powerful as other competitor's device but Xperia stands out when it comes to it's uncommon, cute, elegant shapes. I like most is the Xperia Arc design [it's one of a kind].. This model has Arc shape too but when you use a tough protector case [Speck], it becomes dull and looks like competitive's common, boxed shape phone. So I toss away the case and use it as is, now you can see it's not a common phone but it's a SONY. Anyway, I ordered Incipio feather case, with it's thin yet durable material, it will preserve the arc shape of TL.
So, Xperia ION vs Xperia TL design? I'd go for ION. but TL is more powerful.
Anyway, feature wise, I like the 13MP Rear Camera.. front camera isn't bad #although I don't use it). The rapid fire also handy for capturing unexpcted moments.
TL's battery life isn't good as Xperia S or Arc.. Maybe it's because it's pack of powerful features that you need to be wise to turn off any unuse features like NFC, WiFi, Auto Sync or Mobile Data. I recommend to use the Power Saver app to tune up and automatically conserve battery juice.

good phone
everything is good with this phone,but all the control buttons are left side and confusing most of the time, and there is no Ear phones included in the package.

Exceeds Expectations
I am coming from an iPhone 4 to the Xperia TL & couldn't be happier. I researched this phone thoroughly before purchase & it beats the pre-release expectations by far. The camera is sharp, clear, and the quick shot is a great feature! The screen is crystal clear and the HD screen is sharp and very responsive. The touch screen is also accurate and worked well through a pair of running gloves. The NFC and SmartTags are a great bonus and the Smart Connect is very easy to use. LTE speeds actually clocked faster than my wireless N router at PHL.
My only con so far is that while running a 10 mile race in the hills of Bethlehem PA the GPS signal was spotty. Everywhere else it has been solid, but that didn't help me during the race.
I have been thrilled with my switch to Sony and have only begun to explore the Xpetia TL!
