Amazing Headphones!
I purchased these headphones on March 12, 2013 and it was delivered on March 14, 2013 through Amazon. When I opened up the box, the headphones themselves were extremely good. The appearance looked nice, the sound quality was amazing, it was lightweight, looked nice, had two cords, and the headband was pretty comfortable. I was very pleased with my purchase and I'm glad that all the money I spent was worth every single penny of it. There were just some very few cons. My ears hurt a little bit after having them on for a while and the headphones were somewhat easy to scratch, and it was just a little overpriced, but other than that, these headphones were fantastic.

Best Headphones I've Every Owned
Decided to move on from a high end pair of in-ears that become uncomfortable for me during coast to coast US flights. Never thought I?d find an ?on-ear? pair that could compare to the sound quality that I get from these trusted speaker manufacturer ear buds.
After a very brief in store demo with material that I wasn?t familiar with I started bargain shopping and found a new pair of black MDR-X10?s for 20-33% off the going rate. I travel with my entire music collection on an iPod classic and also use these afterhours when the Mrs. has already retired for home entertainment listening.
The first notable result was the need to dial down on my iPod volume compared to my previous set. After a little experimenting with a diversity of music I cued up some hammer of the God?s material that I?ve listened to through several media?s over the last forty years (age/era give-away) and immediately was impressed. Much to my surprise and delight many of the tracks that I thought I knew inside out took on new life with the MDR?s. Separation and realism is the absolute best I?ve ever heard with a set of headphones, given the ergonomic challenge of pumping music directly into your ears instead of sound stage presentation derived from speakers in a traditional room set up. Reviews that I?ve read about bass being excessive in my opinion proved to be false. Ambient noise is a non issue at average listening levels even on a noisy airplane.
Price is a little steep when compared with other far more complex electronics that can be purchased in this price range these days. One very minor complaint would be that after several hours of continuous listening, the ear cushions start to warm up causing the hard grill area of the phones start to bottom out on my ears resulting in a little discomfort and the need for adjustment (may be different depending on each individuals head/ear size). Other than that, I would challenge anyone to listen to a favorite recording that you?re very familiar with through these phones. I think you?ll be impressed and want to add these to your stash for ?getting away from it all listening?.

These headphones does a great job of balancing out base as well as sound quality. the wired never gets tangled nor breaks, you won't have to worry about anyone hearing your music because of the great noise cancellations they have...overall great product, and great buy.!
