Excellent This blu-ray is amazing. My friends have blu-rays for $400-500 but this has as good of picture as any else I've seen. Wouldn't trade it for anything, especially everything priced higher with no additional value!! April 22, 2012
We Want "Blockbuster On Demand" Its been almost a year since I have used the blu-ray player, especially streaming Netflix. Well this september i dumped netflix as they raised their price for providing terrible content. I have switched to blockbuster but SONY does not have Blockbuster on demand (though there are similar apps...but who cares). SONY wake up and give us BLOCKBUSTER on demand!!!!!!!! Until blockbuster comes up as an option...I will not recommend this product. September 29, 2011
Not Bad For The Price Sometimes Have to switch discs into my PS3 to get them to play.. Other wise they kida skip alot.... Sometimes works fine when other times it doesn't August 28, 2011
Cheap player ruined by firmware I purchased this player last December, mainly for Netflix capabilities. When the player was purchased, it was immediately updated with the most recent FW at the time. Netflix worked fine, and we didn't seem to have any issues with any discs. Almost 6 months down the road and 2 firmware updates later, the player refuses to buffer Netflix for longer than a minute, and is now giving us issues with older DVDs. Sony would have you believe it's your ISP, but when all 4 of your computers, your PS3 and iPad play Netflix just fine at HD quality, you know it's not your network/internet. Will be calling support and demanding action. I used to be a very loyal Sony supporter, but I might be looking into other brands from now on. April 20, 2011
