Absolutely the best pair of headphones I have or could ever buy. They emphasize the bass but not too much and they preserver the mid and high tones almost flawlessly. I recommend these headphones for everyone looking at them.

I had a pair of Sony MDR-51 on the ear headphones for years and wanted to get another pair. I tried a pair of Sony MDR- 110LP and MDR-220LP and the Sony MDR-51 had a superior sound. I tried a pair of JVC HA-RX900 they sound was very close to the Sony MDR-51 but could not hear much of a difference between the two. After reading many reviews, I decided to get the Sony MDR-X10 Headphones. The sound is far superior to both the MDR-51 and the JVC HA-RX900. There is much more Bass, Mid-range and Treble. The music just seems to jump out at you. I definitely recommend these headphones to any one who wants a good sound at a decent price.

Ok, I have to say, these are the most comfortable headphones i have ever bought. I decided to order these after a trip to my local Best Buy. I stopped by the Media Center and tried on a pair of (insert high priced bass product here).. and then I tried on a pair of Sony X10's and i fell in love! they are comfortable beyond compare, and the bass is perfection, as it does not muddy the music. I also want to mention the highs are not drowned out by the bass like other bass headphones on the market, especially for the price. BUY THESE! YES YOU!

These headphones suprise me everytime I listen to a song. I'm going to get straight to the review.
-Can feel the bass, and the highs and lows are astounding
-Not as much sound leakage as I thouht there'd be
So, the sound on the X headphones is just amazing, it's like a speaker at full volume, but that's your choice. The bass, it's really good, better than I anticipated. You can feel it, you know it's there, especially at a high volume. It's good enough that it doesn't ruin the music to the point where are you hear and feel is bass. The X headphones are very nice, everyone tells me they the aluminum finish on the earcups. These are probably one of the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn, you can literally use these for hours with no discomfort. The price is really good, I pretty much got it for a steal. I can listen to these headphones at high volumes and people haven't told me to turn it down, it doesn't really disturb people around you, that's what I like.
-After long uses the cushion on the earcups start to heat up
I don't think there's any other noticable cons, other than that, I really think they should have intergrated something to where the cushions don't get so hot, other than that there's nothing realy wrong with these.
If you're looking for a great pair of headphones and you have a budget, I would suggest these, most of my friends tell me they're better than Beats by Dre, (but what isn't).
