by Bree Amazing Sound Until They Fell Apart
My Husband Received These Headphones As A Late Christmas Present Last Year & Never Took Them Off. He Fell In Love With Them. The Sound Was Great But The Started To Fall Apart...The Material On The Head Band Was Coming Off And Then Yesterday He Was Adjusting The Size To Put Them On And The Left Side Came Off...The Plastic Cracked And Broke Off....Very Disappointed Especially For The Price And Because He Has Only Had Them 6 Months And Cant Use Them Now.

for this price, you can't beat these headphones. they sound just as good, if not better than anything out there. and i am very picky about sound quality. i needed huge bass (got it) and good isolation (got it) so i could play my drums along to my mp3 player. these drown out the drums perfectly and i don't even have to make my ears bleed to hear the music and the bass shines. it's almost unbelievable how much bass these headphones put out.
i originally planed on getting the bose AE2 phones, but when i tried these sony's out at target i knew they would win. they sound better and they were $50 cheaper. the bose were a little more comfortable/lighter, but not $50 more comfortable.
bottom line: you won't find better headphones at this price - you won't even find better headphones that cost twice as much. these are a great bargain for the quality you get. highly recommended.
the only thing i didn't like is that there is no case and you only get the 1/8" headphone jack and no 1/4" adapter. now i have to spend an extra $5....

I was thinking to Buy Bose Headphones. Glad that I was able to find something in reasonable price range. This Headphones are really good they fit good on head and does not slip off your head. It has really Excellent Bass and it also sound great. If you even listen to music for hours it will not irritate your ears. The only thing I did not like about this is that, whenever I try to take it off my head they fold right away and I feel like they will fall apart. Just wish they would have added a cheap Soft case for this Headphone just to protect from scratches while traveling. Over all Great Headphones, good sound and I am satisfy with the built quality. Hope you find this review helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jules5850 I just got the MDR-XB600's and could not love them more, they sound great and look great. I have yet to find a song including bass boosted songs that have created distortion in these wonderful 40mm drivers Sony has put in the sleek, stylish, and outstandingly comfortable headphones. I was shocked at how good they sounded in the mids and highs, even the lows as well. I just cant rap my mind around how cheep they are for the quality. If your looking for great base, comfort, style, and quality, look no further than the Sony MDR-XB600's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sojodave Best headphones under $100
I have been hunting for over a month for a good set of headphones under $100. I tried headphones in Bestbuy and other stores. I think the MDRXB600 is the best headphones you can find under $100. The bass is tight and pronounced and mixes perfectly with the mids and highs. I was surprised how big the soundstage sounds with these headphones. I tried Sennheiser 439's and these blow them away in sound quality. They are comfortable to wear and look awesome.

These headphones are just great sound extra bass and the best part other then the great sound is the noise cancelling. I am not sure if that's advertised but when you put them on you don't hear much, then turn on the music and your in heaven.

I didn't realize just how much "extra", Extra Bass headphones are in terms of deep bass and background rhythm. The sound is very different, like you're sitting with the band and grooving to your own bass sound while the frontman is belting out the tenor. It takes a little getting used to, but pretty quickly you realize you're hearing distortion-free, high quality sound. If you listen to the same songs for years, like me, these phones will give you a new take. I even used them with a small Sony MP3 player, and the battery drove these flawlessly. You won't get original song reproduction with treble lead, but you will hear new bass and overall higher quality sound, even on old tracks, and who can object to that?
