Overall, this is an awesome camera! The colors turn out amazingly with the image sensor. It is a very easy camera to use as well.
The cons are the panoramas, it stitches together badly when shooting a mountainous and rocky terrain and the hdr can really be worked on. It can blur images together in low light and you don't notice it until after when you are reviewing the pictures. It is a real bummer! So overall this is a great camera and I would recommend.

Purchased camera after seeing a relatives pictures. They were great but now I realize they were mostly still slow motion shots. I was excited to get camera. I got 3 different lenses to handle all situations I thought. Still shots were fantastic even in low light. However, less than 30% of action photos were in focus. I put on sports mode, shutter priority with fast shutter speed to no avail. I tried all focus area settings as well. Was reading about firmware update and got excited but my camera had the newest software update. So I chuckle at the commercial recommending action photos at the x games. My 6 year old cannon dslr blows this camera away for action photos. Good camera for still or portraits but bad for action.

by pintobeanss89 Im no pro..
Im no professional, but this thing makes me feel like one. Sometimes i can't even believe the shots i get with this camera. I've reviewed many cameras before making this purchase and i couldn't be happier. The quality of the images is truly amazing. I bought this camera the day before I left for niagra falls with no time to mess around with the settings or anything like that. I got some really amazing shots just from the intelligent auto setting. When i started to change the settings I got to see the true power of this little beast! I never write reviews, but i love this camera so much that I had to share it with everyone!

The more pictures I take, the more tricks and features I learn about. DIg into this camera, don't take it for face value alone. Thought the digital zoom was useless, because of what I saw on the image preview screen, but the camera processes that image and cleans it up. Very sharp final picture even at 10x digital zoom(see attached 10x bathing robin). The spot size for auto focus is too big (should be a user programmable size). I shoot songbirds and the spot focus includes the background around the bird in calculating focus. This happens at all focal lengths, including 210mm. It's extremely difficult to get sharp images of the birds. Also, digital zoom auto focus does not provide spot focusing. Limited choices for custom buttons. Should be able to set default zoom size for manual focus assist. I always end up turning focus ring on lens, then pushing assist button for higher zoom, all while holding shutter button halfway down. If preferred assist zoom size was programmed, all I would need to do is focus and shoot. On the plus side, image quality in low light using high ISO settings is unreal. No other camera on the market can come close. Still clear at 25600 (note attached photo of Hydrangea). The tiny flash that came with the camera works fantastic. I shot an image of our living room at night in the dark. The exposure was perfect and evenly distributed from corner to corner. The low light capability of this camera will eliminate the need for flash in most cases. Build quality of camera body and both 18-55mm and 55-210mm e-mount lenses is superb. None of that plastic junk typical of other brands. Image stabilization eliminates the need for tripod. Handheld images are never blurred. Excellent product. There is no perfect camera, but this is a lot better than most on the market and by far the best mirror less interchangeable lens camera, hands down.
