by psdigital Awesome Camera!
This camera has a lot packed into it's small lightweight body! 18MP and a Song "G" lens to start!
One thing I love is the ability to take 13 MP still shots while shooting video with no interruption of filming! It has all the Sony features such as 3D Panorama Sweep, Handheld Twilight, Pop Color and many more! Handheld Twilight allows taking pictures in very, very low light. I used it under a street light and it turned out very sharp! It seamlessly combines up to 6 shots into one for great exposure and sharpness.
The Partial Color feature allows you to choose one color to stand out in your photo while the remainder is Black and White! Something you had to do in an editing program previously.
It has a HDR Painting mode that is fun to use! See one of my sample pics.
I highly recommend this camera for beginners as well as more advanced photographers.
Did I mention how small it is for carrying in your pocket? This is also great when you are filming video. It makes it easier to hold without wearing out you muscles!
My sample images are straight from the camera without any editing. These were taken with a promotional camera provided by Sony before it was released.

by Lilregency Must have camera for family and vacation shots
Absolutely love this camera. My wife and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at Disney World. This is my 5th digital camera and by far my favorite. The quick response (shutter speed), high quality photo's (18.2 MP#, wide angle lens, great battery life and many other features which I have yet to use, make this camera a must have for family and vacations. The two photo's I posted are in complete darkness #no flash pictures were allowed). I can't believe how great the photo's turned out...crystal clear

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chewingcow DSC-WX150 Nice camera but.....
We recently purchased our WX150 and found it to be an easy point and shoot camera. The pictures and videos are very sharp. The auto features do a nice job in selecting the proper setting based on conditions for example low lighting. Two cons are first the problem with uploading videos to a MAC and Facebook. While on vacation I tried to download the vidoes on my daughter's Mac for her but the MAc did not recognize them. In my investigation it appears additional software or conversion is required. Secondly the battery in this camera does not appear to have the life that my old Cyber shot had resulting in some lost photo opertunities. I am addresssing this problem by purchasing a second battery and AC charger. Those were the only problems preventing me from rating the camera as a five star.

Rated 4 out of 5 by akhitk Nice features for a grandma!
This is a very nice camera. Love it's small size & light weight. It has an easy intuitive setting that gives you great focus & lighting for your pictures. The low light was the most important feature for me as we live in Alaska & it's dark most of the year.
So far, there's only 1 problem that I really hate about the camera. It's all black & so are the buttons which make it hard to find the buttons when you need them. I would also like to turn off the location details for the camera files & also have the option of saving in RAW format.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fayez Compact but near equal performance to DSLR camera
The capabilities and the performance of this camera are just impressive. I have a website for which I use this camera to take my product photos, and I keep getting comments about how great the product photography looks, including from photographers! What they don't know is that this is the camera I use, and I am just your average camera user! You can see my photos at VALOOSA.com. So here are some of the highlights of what I love about this compact camera: awesome anti-shake function, impressive manual zoom at 8x, auto setting mode according to the type of shoot and environment, nice panorama shoot, 18.1 M Pixels for crisp photos, background blur function, has lots of built-in artificial intelligence to automatically help the un-professional user like me, non-stop video with zoom, and slips right into the little pocket of my shirt! What I don't like about it: it feels a little bit flimsy (although it dropped hard twice and is still going), battery life could be longer, and I don't like the delete toggle button function. Well, I'm about to order another one as a gift for my brother. Great job on this one Sony!

Rated 4 out of 5 by WaqasTariq A nice budget friendly camera
This is my second camera from Sony, the first one being the sturdy and rock solid DSC-W5 bought 7 years ago. The picture quality is good but a little noisy, compared to my 7 year old W5 (which has a Carl Zeiss lens) the pictures are very noisy and I feel the quality lacks as well, maybe that's just me right now as I have only used it for 2 days. Over all a very good camera for pictures and 1080p videos, but if you can add some extra bucks I will recommend that you go for DSC-TX66 that has a Carl Zeiss lens and hopefully lesser picture noise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Memo79 Noisy when you zoom
I returned this camera because of the following two things: the picture is very noisy when you zoom in the computer, the second thing this camera it does not preform well in night. I had this camera for one week and I decided to return it because I use this camera for my research and I need to see the details in the pictures that I shoot. everything else works goos.
