It's truly a fine product, soft cover is amazing that reflect a large amount of spills without absorbing them. My favorite part is the pen it comes with! The pen is small, sleek and it opens up my paint paget easier than me doing it manually. Charging last longer than expected, it isn't a full charge but for a slim case that should be expected. Only reason it's not a 5 star is because of the price tag it comes with, and the pen isn't always locked in tight; tends to fall out when and if you walk and swing your arm suddenly and repeatedly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JPG663 THE Best Dock/Charger Combo Ever Released. PERIOD!
Well let me say this - The official Sony Power Cover CP12 IS AS AMAZING AS IT LOOKS! Your XZU pops right in and settles in the case perfectly, it looks totally cool too say the least. It comes with an Sony OEM USB magnetic cable - but what I did was used the cable from my DC30 Dock. I kept the new cable in my box for future uses since these are hard to come by on a single. Plus since I added extra screen protectors on both front & back hoping for some extra protection this BEAST just fits inside the original interchangeable hub, only problem with the DK-30 is that it's just to snug once you've applied screen protectors on both front & back therefore actually lifting the edge/side of the screen protector thereby forcing the SP to actually lift and contaminate the underside of the SP so eventually you'll be forced to replace SP's more often than you'll l like! That's going to + up really quickly!
As for the Protective Cover CP12 itself, at its current price the CP12 needs TWO MAJOR yet simple "add-ons" to really become worthy of its $159.99 price tag - plus tax which adds on another $12 & change. This is especially irritating since Sony doesn't have Brick & Motar stores in Indiana.
What it's missing is a simple magnetic clasp like the $25 (avg.) price say for a RoxFit which are specifically made for the entire Xperia line and they are absolutely amazing cases - check 'em out at www.roxfit.com! Anyhoo, the magnetic clasp employed by RoxFit does an EXCELLENT job at protecting an XZU from falling out of their case. Unfortunately not only is it possible for an XZU to fall out of the CP12, WHEN it does happen, and it will, they're is nothing stopping it from getting completely trashed when crashes down to the waiting cement!
The other small tweak would be EP22 pen found stashed inside the CP12 along the top left corner. IMHO, I believe after spending $800.00 plus the $79.99 AND TAX for my 3 year ADH+ you'd think Sony could at least supply us with top notch OEM accessories like all the competition they've got from around the world. Go Figure.
Lastly, believe it or not with my XZU C6833 WITH the CP12 fits comfortably in my front pant pockets! Albeit with painters pants jeans, casual pants, most of my basketball shorts and warm up/workout sweats. It works flawlessly, the XZU fits snuggly into this case without having to worry about it falling out (as mentioned above the worry comes in if you drop it because there's nothing to hold closed without anything keeping it safe and sound on the way down) - perhaps you're a risk-taker and aren't bothered with such things. I'm betting there's more of us better be safe than sorry customers who don't have a $1,000 to throw around when we see the new Sony Xperia lines unveiled every year.
Let me be clear - this is by far the BEST Dock/Charger Combo ever put out by ANY manufacturer do date minus those two suggestions. Battery life is actually what one would expect from having double the amount of power ready for whenever you need it. It's quite impressive actually! I'd definitely suggest this combination of an XZU & a CP12 to anyone and everyone!
Oh, one last thing...one you put YOUR BEAST INTO THIS BEAST OF A CASE it's about the same exact size of a Nexus 7 (2012 & 2013) respectfully. Thanks for your time reading my Mumbo Jumbo!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Furby Functional Battery Case with some quality issues.
As a battery case, it does the job of increasing the functional size of your Z Ultra's battery well enough. However, the case itself will start to fall apart after a few months of use. The sheer size increase is also a problem- it wouldn't have mattered so much if it made it thicker, but it made it wider and taller, which makes it about as big as a small tablet.

This has been a lifesaver for me when I run out of battery during important occasions and also during accidental drops!
