Well, since Sony sent me an email asking me to review it, here goes. The tv was delivered directly to my house, which was done professionally and carefully by the two-man crew. However, when I unboxed the TV the next day and turned it on, I noticed several significant screen defects. I contacted customer support this morning, and got a case number and sent them some photos of the issues. We'll see how smoothly this issue gets resolved!

All I can really say is WOW so far! This experience is amazing from the time you turn it on. There is so much content that we haven't tried them all at this point. When my wife notice the built in camera she couldn't sleep thinking some was watching. I told her there a cover for the camera and once I put it on she is now more relaxed. Movies are eye popping and it almost like you in it and not watching. We look forward to evening when we can lose ourselves in what ever we are watching. The sound you would not believe until you hear it for yourself. Net flicks streaming 4k is so easy with smaller touch pad that come with the regular remote. Oh is it a sensation one so you have to careful until you get familiar with it. Why has Sony taken so long to come out this product? And we can't wait until there's more 4k content. I've been watching the price fluctuate everywhere so considering that we got a sweet deal for $3200 with not tax. Over all I'm overall pleased with the product and highly recommend wall mounting given a ultimate viewing experience. I chose to pickup in the store and what an adventure. This set isn't lite like the others so be prepared with a friend to move it around because it's heavy. It almost like going back in time to the very first flat screens that were all heavy. But there no comparison to the quality picture of today.

I had a 65 Mitsubishi DLP tv that just died (very good set especially black complexity when viewing movies), but the 65xbr 900B I purchased few weeks ago is completely a break through. It is worth every penny. There is absolutely nothing compared to it: I own a 55 inch plasma (THX). 40 inch Sumsung.
It is just majestically the best unit purchased, even though I couldn't get the $100.00 credit from Amazon.

Sony never disappoints! Bought this television as an upgrade from my other sony 55" 3D TV I bought 4 years ago. All I can say is WOW! 4k resolution is amazing! Netflix has some 4k programming in their lineup which really shows the capabilty of this television. Even my regular HD channels through direct tv look a ton better. Blu Ray discs even better! 3D blu rays are perfect for movie nights! The built in speakers along with the free subwoofer that was included with my purchase sounds amazing! No need for any additional sound system or anything like that. This televison is all in one just like it should be! If you've been debating on getting this televison, You will not regret it when you do! I love this thing!
I would suggest pairing a PS4 with this televison as I believe it is the perfect combo!

I was very pleased with this TV up until 2 months after purchase when it broke. It has been almost 1 month since my TV stopped working and there has been little progress. Dealing with Sony support is extremely frustrating. You would think that TV repair would be a standard procedure but I seem to get passed from department to department continuously with no one being able to tell me anything about the status of my repair. Twice now, a support team told me that someone would call me back within a day but two days will pass without a call. I have been given numbers to call that are not in service on three occasions.
This is truly one of the worse customer support experiences I have ever had. Imagine paying thousand of dollars for a TV, having it break, and then having to call on daily basis hoping that one department has communicated correctly with another. On three occasions, the customer service rep told me that their computer was running slow, not working or having trouble and therefore they were having trouble identifying the source of my problem. Isn't this an electronics company? I have little doubt that it will be weeks before my TV is finally fixed.

This is an excellent TV for those who truly care about picture quality. The up conversion works great without adding visible artifacts and if you can provide a true 1080p or 4k signal you will be blown away. I haven't noticed any light bleed from it only having edge dimming and if there is, I don't think it is worth the price difference compared to the X950B's. You will not find a flat screen TV with better sound either, period, which is a factor for me as I do not use my main 2 channel audio system for TV. If picture quality is your major purchasing factor, then look no further.

My review of the Sony Bravia XBR65X900B: The television is an excellent and awesome product, 5 stars. It has an excellent picture ( Cinerama, vivid, plausible), grand sound quality, and the features in the operation of the said product are smooth and easy. The speakers are in the most optimal position. I strongly recommend the product and feel that Sony moves constructively toward improving performance and support, and excels in enhancing performance of their products. I have 2 other wide screen televisions and was leaning toward purchasing their (competitor) new model Big screen, Not!!! Thanks Sony, job well done.

HI I BUY THIS TV IN LAST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 2014 IN FRYS OK I AM SONY FAN FROM A LITTLE KID ALL MY ELECTRONICS IS SONY ALL WAYS LIKED FROM CAR TO HOME WHEN I BUY THIS TV THE FIRST ONE CAME WHIT A WHITE SPOT IN THE TOP OF THE TV VERY ANNOYING I CALL FRYS FOR REPLACEMENT NOW THE SECOND ONE FRYS BRING THE TV TO MY HOME BEFORE THEY LIVE I OPEN THE BOX AND THE TV CAME WHIT THE LCD BROKE IN A CORNER I MAD I CALL FRYS THEY NO HAVE THE TV THEY CALL SONY TO SEND ONE TO IS STORE I WAIT TWO WEEK ANOTHER TV ARRIVE THE THIRD FRYS BEFORE SEND ME THE TV THEY OPENED I GUESS WHAT IS BROKE TOO I AM ULTRA MAD I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR ANOTHER TV THEY CANT BECAUSE WAS FINANCE BY SONY CREDIT LINE SO I COOL DOWN OK SEND ME ANOTHER TV FRYS FOUND ANOTHER TV IN OTHER STORE THE FOUR TV ARRIVE IN MY HOME AND FINALY GOOD ONE BUD GUESS WHAT FOR TWO MONTH LATER THEY START CAME OUT A LEAK OF WHITE LIGHT IN THE TOP ALMOST IN THE MIDDLE LIKE A FLASH LIGHT I CALL FRYS AGAIN THEY TELL ME SONY NEED TO HELP YOU WHIT THAT I CALL SONY THEY HELP ME OUT FAST TOMOROW ARRIVE THE FIFTH ONE 1/26/15 WELL SEE NEXT REVIEW
