Rated 2 out of 5 by TexasImages NOT a great lens. Trouble Getting Crisp Images.
I've been using a Nikon DSLA with m 18-270mm Sigma lens for several years now. Moved to the A6000 this past month, and admittedly have had trouble adjusting to how this camera works, reacts to settings, but while I get great images with the kit 16-50mm lens, i have managed to get very few great images with this 55-210mm lens. very disheartening. Actually debating returning it...

by Captmatt Well balanced Tele Zoom
It is a nicely made and finished lens which works great on my Sony NEX 7. It is decent wide open, very sharp two stops down.
The zoom mechanism is well placed and easy to move, the focus ring well placed as well. It also continues the use of 49mm filters which is great if you use a polarizer. I am pleased with the color, sharpness, contrast and bokeh of this lens. It fulfills it's intended purpose beautifully.

by JamesChen Excellent lens
I got this lens for a couple of month, it came together with the NEX-F3Y kit, its pretty amazing with it superb quality of images. Particularly at low-light condition. The only problem is a little bit long in length, it might poses some discomfort while you are shooting photographs in a crowded area. But I guess probably I might get used to this as time goes by.

This lens is extremely well designed, high quality and most importantly is capable of helping you take sharp, clear, full size digital SLR quality shots. It is far better than the stock lens that comes with the NEX5N camera. Highly recommended.

I love the idea of this lens but the reality is that the images are badly ghosted. I've experimented with both handheld and tripod shots and on a lovely day with good light there are bad ghosts at 70mm and at 210mm. I plan on taking it back to the store and trying another lens as I read other reviews and haven't seen this complaint so I may have a bad lens.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Shufflegirl Question for this lens filming Sports
I am hearing that this lens will not allow enough light for me to film inside an arena. What can I do to my settings to help this issue. I use the NEX 5 and have plans on purchasing this new lens for filming athletes playing hockey and lacrosse indoors.
Any help would be so appreciated.
