40” (diag) W600B Series LED HDTV
Perfect until I turned it on...
I received this TV a week after I ordered it and I was probably the happiest person alive. Packaging was pretty good, the box and TV were very light. I spent well over $600 for this TV so I can have the best experience. When I turned it on it was working perfectly. The picture quality and sound were AMAZING, but the remote could use some upgrading. I was checking out Netflix when I suddenly noticed a black line on the top of the screen. I ignored it cause I thought it was part of Netflix but then I noticed it again when I was playing some games. I called customer support the next day and they said that it's quite normal to have a couple of dead pixels, even though it was probably 10-20 dead pixels. I asked if I could replace it since I had the 5 year warranty, but all they did was come up with some reasons and try to sugar-coat it. If it weren't for the dead pixels then I would recommend this to my friends and rate this a 5/5. But for now, I'm greatly disappointed.

Great picture, easy set-up
This is my first LED TV so I am very impressed with picture and the slimness and weight of set. Easy set up. Remote needs getting used to, they have designed it so you have a set of navigation circle buttons inside another.
You can get a better price for this at a smaller retailer like Star electronics in T.O $599 is more reasonable. 40" set are getting harder to find especially if you are staying away from South Korean Brands (Samsung, LG) - South Korea has one of the worst records for animal welfare so I don't buy their products.
Over-all great TV, enjoy.

Picture quality diminished
I’m a Sony TV fan for over 20 years, and never had any other TV, but Sony.
When Sony announced this smart TV and its price, I was impatiently waiting for its arrival and expectations were high.
Guess what, now I’m really disappointed. I have recently purchased an R-series model and when comparing both - picture quality of this W-series one is not pleasing my eye like Sony always did (R-series is up to Sony's usual standards, btw).
Smart TV for this money is great, indeed. But where is RED color on this TV? It’s more like over-saturated orange. Other colors are fine, though. Skin tones are brownish and not natural. Sony had always great lifelike picture, particularly skin colors.
Obviously company did something wrong to reduce production cost. This is NOT the usual Sony picture quality.
Played with adjustments with no success and decided to return.

Major Motion Blur
I got this to replace a 32" Sony from a few years ago. The picture is great for most things, like movies and tv shows. The sound is excellent. But, this TV can't handle fast motion, like hockey. The player's legs and the puck get completely pixelated. The old 32" had no motion blur problems. I was really surprised by how bad the games look. They pretty hard to watch on this. Really disappointing.
Not sure if I'll keep it. I had originally bought a Samsung from Best Buy, but the image was terrible. Every face looked like it had a spotlight on it. I returned it and found this one online. The image on this TV is very good overall. But, the motion blur is significant. It makes watching games far less enjoyable, especially on a TV this size and with such a great picture for regular programs.
